Data Deletion & Account Closure
At SANAD, we respect your privacy and your right to control your personal data. In accordance with Algerian Law No. 18-07, you have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated personal information at any time.
11. How to Delete Your Account (Mobile App)
The most efficient way to delete your account is directly through the SANAD mobile application:
• Open the SANAD App on your mobile device.
• Navigate to the 'Profile' tab in the bottom menu.
• Scroll down to the 'Account Actions' section at the bottom of the screen.
• Tap on 'Delete Account' (indicated by a red trash icon).
• Read the warning carefully and tap 'Continue'.
• Confirm the action one final time to permanently close your account.
Your session will be terminated immediately, and you will be logged out.
22. Manual Deletion Request
If you are unable to access the mobile application, you can submit a manual deletion request by contacting our support team:
• Email: support@sanadapp.co
• Subject: Account Deletion Request - [Your Full Name]
Note: For security reasons, the request must be sent from the email address registered with your SANAD account. We may ask for additional verification to confirm your identity.
33. Data Treatment and Retention
When you delete your account, SANAD processes your data as follows:
• Immediate Deletion: Your active profile, social memberships, and push notification tokens are removed from our active systems immediately.
• Regulatory Archive: In compliance with Algerian financial and anti-fraud regulations, we retain a secure snapshot of your identity verification and transaction history for a limited period as required by law.
• Group Context: Messages sent in group chats will remain visible to other members to maintain the context of the conversation, but your name and profile photo will be replaced with 'Deleted User'.
